03.23

AM training:
Ladders of HLR, swings, C&P, goblet squats, shrimps, chins 1-3 x 3

Lunch time BJJ
  • Bear hug escape to knee
  • Knee on stomach reversal
  • Some sort of from closed guard - go to the side where the arm is controlled is the take away
  • Rolled with a skinny strong dude, trying to not simply out muscle and instead looking for opportunities. Applied some guard passing stuff but not much else. If I'm going to yield I need to control where it goes so I can practice what I want. I also need to work to apply at least some aspect of the technique that was drilled. Today the sweeps and shrimp would have been ideal.
